Fav of the Week- Gnocchi

I discovered this tasty food this summer at a couple from our church's house. It is so tasty, especially with pesto. For those of you who have not been introduced to this treat, gnocchi is a type of pasta made out of potatoes. It cooks in about 3 minutes, which makes for a quick meal. Props to gnocchi.

New Year's Resolutions

A little late, I know, but here are some of my New Year's Resolutions

1. Spend time with God everyday (prayer, Bible, meditation, etc).
2. Intentionality in friendships (inviting people to coffee, having people over for dinner, etc).
3. Exercise 3x's/week.
4. Get a job.
5. Read a professional article at least 1 time/week.
6. Start a group to discuss simplicity and social justice.

I am placing these in public view so that I have some amount of accountability as I am not succeeding too well yet.

Gilly

Dear Gilly,
Thanks for coming to Denver this weekend. It was really fun to see you. Ever since I got to know you on the Habitat for Humanity trip you have been an encouragement in my life.(I'll say steakin', you say shakin'- steak and shake, steak and shake!). Thanks for bringing in those around you to process with you. I need that, especially now outside of JBU. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement- it is so easy to feel unnoticed and stagnant, but your words bring peace and grace! I don't take them lightly. I was good to see you friend, although we are not so close these days.

PS- your life plan definitely involves moving to denver, so i'll see you soon!
