11.3.09- Day 167

Alan saved up his money from the last few months and bought an itouch. He loves it. My husband is such a saver and never buys anything, except gum and little techie things. It's his weakness. I also love that one of the main reasons he wanted it was so he can listen to sermons on the way to work. It's such a blessing to have a husband who loves the Lord.
One of the couples in our small group leaves on Friday to go to Texas to await the birth of their *hopefully* adopted son. Nicole made this fabulous B cake for their last night at small group. (B is for Bresnahan (their last name), Baby, and Boy). It has been really interesting to watch them go through the process of adoption. I had no idea all that was involved. We will continue praying that if this is the baby that God wants to be part of their family, that they will come home to Denver in a few weeks with a son!
In other news... back to the daily routine. Today was boring though, because I had several sick kids and one that was suspended. I like seeing kids way more than doing paperworky things. Also, I really love our small group. We're all so different, but we laugh a lot together and support each other, and are learning about God together.
