11.6.09- Day 170

Ahhh, Friday. After work, I went for a run, then woke Alan up from his slumber. Does he look sleepy in the picture? It's probaby because he had only gotten about 4 hours of sleep when I woke him up. Stupid night shift! We went on a date after Alan woke up a little. We did icecream and a movie at the $3 Theater :). We have these awesome coupons to different Aurora businesses and one of them is buy one get one free Coldstone icecream. Yum! We are nerds and both got cheesecake icecream with reeses. It's the best though! We went to go see Surrogates at Elvis Cinemas. It is a Bruce Willis futuristic movie about a time when everyone lives and feels through robots called surrogates (because it's much safer than risking your life out in the real world). It was an interesting movie and a commentary on what technology is currently doing to society and what it could do even more in the future. It's definitely more of a cheap theater/rental type movie, but was definitely enjoyable. I love weekends!
